Sun with Herschelprism 2022/03/27

On sunday the 27th (and the days around it) of March 2022 there was a very huge sunspot.

The Astrophoto Afternoon

Sun with Herschelprism 2022/03/27. This week we had a very huge Sun spot. I had to take the chance and make a photo.

Lessons Learned

I am taking my photos of the Sun with making RAW photos and not making video sequences. Main reason is, that I lack video resolution. In this case I made 60 RAW photos with 1/4000 exposure time at 1600 ISO.

Here is the final Result of the astrophoto in high resolution on Flickr:

Processing the Data

I did the processing with PIPP, Autostakkert! 3, IMPPG and Affinity Photo.

For the final picture I used 5 out of 60 pictures from the RAW sequence.
